  Yaqîn is certain. There are some forms of yaqin. These are ilm-al yaqin, ayn-el yaqin, haqq-al yaqin. I will explain them with an example. When we see a smoke, we know that there is a fire. This knowing process is ilm-al yaqin. If wee see the fire, it is ayn-al yaqin. When we touch the fire, it become haqq-al yaqin. Although this example is famous for yaqin’s degree. I want to criticize it. Touching the fire is not something which introduce fire itself. Feeling the pain is like the result of interaction between fire and body, so the pain belong to accidental attribute of the fire. In that case, if we try to define the fire, we would say that fire is the thing which cause to feel me pain. How much this definition define the fire? Can it give answer to “What is fire”? I do not think so.
